Unicode Status for Mongolian

In The Unicode Standard, Mongolian script implementation is discussed in Chapter 13 South and Central Asia-II: Other Modern Scripts and in UTN 57: Encoding and Shaping of the Mongolian Script.

The Mongolian script was encoded in The Unicode Standard version 3.0 and unifies Mongolian and the three derivative scripts Todo, Manchu, and Sibe. Each of the three derivative scripts shares some common letters with Mongolian, and these letters are encoded only once. Each derivative script also has a number of modified letter forms or new letters, which are encoded separately. The script is encoded in the following block:
