Unicode Status for Old Hungarian

In The Unicode Standard, Old Hungarian script implementation is discussed in Chapter 8 Europe-II — Ancient and Other Scripts.

The Old Hungarian script was encoded in The Unicode Standard version 8.0. The script is encoded in the following block:

  1. As can be seen from the multiple proposals and discussion documents, the road to encoding this script was not straightforward. The Unicode Technical Committee accepted Old Hungarian for encoding at the point when L2/11-242 (WG2=n4110) was discussed.
