Unicode Status for Cyrillic

In The Unicode Standard, Cyrillic script implementation is discussed in Chapter 7 Europe-I: Modern and Liturgical Scripts , UTN 26: On the Encoding of Latin, Greek, Cyrillic, and Han, and in UTN 41: Church Slavonic Typography in Unicode.

The Cyrillic script was first encoded in The Unicode Standard version 1.0. Since that time the encoding has undergone a number of modifications; the script is now encoded in the following blocks:
